VisitCasper Website

Visit Project

This website was produced in 2013 for the Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. When we built their original site back in 2006 (http://www.casperwyoming.info), we built everything around a content strategy that emphasized local events and feature-length articles about the region's recreational opportunities. But by 2013, feature-length content was less important to travelers. The new site was designed to present short, fresh, seasonal, relevant and actionable content at all levels of the site with a special emphasis on events, attractions and activities at the top level. The site also got a comprehensive visual overhaul, with emphasis on large, beautiful images of the area that change to reflect seasonal landscapes. A whole slew of user features was added including an itinerary builder, direct lodging booking, content sharing and interactive calendars. Adbay also built a custom content management system to allow the CVB staff to add, edit and delete content as needed. The site also features backend systems including an automated weekly events newsletter, a hotel RFP system, Stay and Play voucher redemption, maps management, visitor guide fulfillment system and more.
